Before you start: general rules for all advertisers
Regardless of which top premium website you're targeting, every campaign must meet Cointraffic's standard advertising policies outlined in our Terms for Advertisers. On top of that, the following apply across all top premium websites:
Landing destination must be a website. Telegram channels and social media pages are not accepted anywhere in this list.
Your banner and landing page must match. Promoting something that can't be found on your landing page will result in rejection.
No nudity or adult content on banners or the promoted website.
Projects with a history of scams are not accepted - regardless of project type or industry.
Wallet connection requirement is a red flag. If your website requires users to connect a crypto wallet to interact with it, this is considered a potential security threat - especially for new or unverified projects - and will not pass review.
Certain project types are always rejected - this includes HYIP schemes and high-risk investment projects without verifiable information.
If your project is fine on all points above, read on for what's needed per website and per industry.

Requirements by project type
Gambling advertisers

Any valid, active license is accepted - there is no requirement for a specific jurisdiction. What matters is that the license is current and in good standing.
If your license covers specific territories only (e.g. UK-only), your campaign will run in those territories exclusively - targeting will be set up accordingly.
Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam are blocked for gambling advertisers on Etherscan suite websites - regardless of license status. Singapore and Malaysia are also blocked on CoinGecko and GeckoTerminal.
Banner creative rules: terms like "casino," "slots," "poker," and "bet now" are restricted across most top premium websites. "Bonus," "free spins," and "promotions" are generally accepted. On Solscan, Basescan, Watcher.guru, and Blockmedia the restriction is strict - even your brand name may not appear if it contains a gambling term.
CoinGecko / GeckoTerminal: casino ads are accepted on the website only - mobile app placements are not available for gambling advertisers.
If you are a long-standing client and have previously been approved for broader creative language, this must be reconfirmed with your account manager before each new campaign.
Token and memecoin projects
Token and memecoin projects
A public team is required - anonymous projects are not accepted. There must be real, identifiable people behind the project, and this information should be publicly available. LinkedIn profiles, public social media presence, or a completed KYC on your platform (by a team member genuinely involved in the project) are all accepted forms of verification.
Your whitepaper must be complete. Broken links or unfinished sections will be flagged and may delay or block approval.
If the domain you are promoting differs from your main brand, you need to prove the connection - either via an email sent from your official company domain confirming ownership, or a public post on a verified company channel (LinkedIn, X, or an official blog) stating the relationship.
CoinGecko / GeckoTerminal: tokens and exchanges must be listed on CoinGecko to be eligible for advertising.
Pre-sale projects
Pre-sale projects
Pre-sales are not accepted on the following websites: Coinphoton, Ethplorer, Binplorer, CoinGecko, and GeckoTerminal. If you are running a pre-sale, contact your account manager to identify suitable placements from the rest of our network.
Brokerages, neobanks, and Web2 financial platforms
Brokerages, neobanks, and Web2 financial platforms
These are accepted on CoinGecko and GeckoTerminal as long as the project has a solid reputation and does not raise trust concerns. Contact your account manager if you are unsure whether your project qualifies.
Cloud mining services
Cloud mining services
Not accepted on Whattomine and Hashrate.com by default. If your service has been operating for several years and has a verifiable track record, contact your account manager before submitting - exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Tracking links and destination URLs
All destination URLs are checked before approval. This is standard practice - there have been repeated attempts to use well-known brand names alongside links that redirect to phishing or harmful pages.
Official domain links (e.g. yourwebsite.com with no redirects) are the simplest to approve.
Custom tracking links are accepted but require verification that the final destination matches the approved landing page at all times. A link that displays a different page than what was approved will not be accepted.
Best practice: use your official domain with UTM parameters for tracking. It removes ambiguity and gets approved faster.
Advertising via the Marketplace
The same requirements apply if you are placing campaigns through the Cointraffic Marketplace. If a website listed above requires a gambling license, pre-approval, or specific creative rules - these apply regardless of whether you book directly or through the Marketplace.
Not a fit for some of these websites? We'll find what works.
Every project is different - and not every placement is the right match. Cointraffic's network goes well beyond this list, with over 700 crypto websites where requirements are more flexible.
Whatever your project type, industry, or budget - there's a strong placement for you. Reach out to your account manager and we'll build the right setup together.
